每天早上在《每日新闻》横滨支社工作的青年记者永濑一郎，打探到神奈川县警本部正在处理一起美国士兵逃脱事件的消息。在本部，警备二课的佐々木、上村、原等经验丰富的警员已经开始展开行动。这名美国士兵名叫罗伯特，前来提交搜索请求的弗兰克中尉似乎害怕这起事件曝光。看样子，罗伯特是从事特殊情报工作的人员，事件背后似乎牵扯着与大陆相关的秘密圈子。不巧的是，佐々木刑警被某人杀害，接着，美国士兵罗伯特的尸体漂到了芝海岸。随后，美国方面要求停止调查。永濑得到山中记者的支持，决心揭开这起事件的核心。他无法忍受那种总是顾虑外国方面情况的调查方针。佐々木刑警遇害当晚出现过的一家夜总会老板黑崎，以及那里的女歌手艾米，这两人似乎有着什么隐情……

Orphaned at a very young age, Varsha Oberoi, lives a wealthy lifestyle with her paternal uncle, Jain Oberoi, in Bombay, and has traveled world-wide. She is in love with Vijay, a middle-classed young man, who runs a small furniture store, badly in debt, and lives with his widowed mom, a younger brother, Deepu, and sister, Nanhi, who are very friendly with Varsha. Then Vijay is reunited with his childhood friend, Vikram Chawla, who is welcomed with open arms by the entire family. It is then Vijay's life turns around, he starts getting a lot of orders, gets out of debt, is able to buy a jeep to replace his motorbike, and moves to a comfortable bungalow.

This is a farce, concerning itself with a young husband and a wife who are becoming stranged over money matters. A stenographer, Vera, overheats her bosses’ client say she cannot stay in Reno the necessary three months to get a divorce, offering $1,000 to the one who will impersonate her there. Vera takes the job - but the woman’s husband, not knowing, also comes...

While playing in the snow one day at her shrine, the land god Nanami Momozono witnesses her familiar—the fox youkai Tomoe—collapse, with dark markings appearing on his body. Tomoe's former master, Lord Mikage, appears after his long absence and places Tomoe into a magical pocket mirror in order to stave off his ailment. Mikage explains that long ago, before he and Tomoe had met, the fox youkai was in love with a human woman. Seeking to live as a human with his beloved, he made a deal with a fallen god, but he only ended up cursed and dying. When Mikage discovered Tomoe, the god made the youkai forget his human love as a quick solution. However, something has changed recently to reactivate the curse; Tomoe has fallen in love with his new human master, Nanami. Since there is no way to stop the curse, Nanami wants to stop Tomoe from getting cursed in the first place by traveling back through time, even if it means they may never meet. As Nanami travels back hundreds of years to save her precious familiar, she discovers that she is far more closely bonded to Tomoe than she previously thought.

After meeting a new friend, Kokoro and her cocotamas are invited to the cocotama world by the Tama elder. When their visit leads to unexpected troubles, they are asked to help save both the cocotama and human worlds.
